Recently, Minu took to Facebook to open up about the oppression she faced in the Malayalam film industry.
In a reel post, she accused several prominent figures in the industry, including actors Mukesh, Jayasurya, Maniyanpilla Raju, and Edavela Babu, as well as a two-time CPI(M) legislator, of s*xually abusing her in 2013.
Minu recounted the physical and verbal abuse she endured while working on a project, which ultimately forced her to leave the Malayalam film industry and relocate to Chennai.
She also revealed an earlier incident from 2008, where she was forcefully hugged and kissed by Jayasurya.
In a recent interview with NDTV on August 26, Minu was asked if she had registered an FIR or complaint at the time of the abuse.
