During the 2016 elections, she made coffee and copies. For experience, she volunteered to work weekends as an on-air reporter at an ABC affiliate.

The 31-year-old reporter then went on to be a White House correspondent and a Washington, D.C. correspondent.

In the 2020 presidential campaign trail, she traveled thousands of miles to cover both the Democratic Party and the Trump campaign, showing excellent dedication.
