Jenna’s boyfriend, Jamie Childs, hails from Shotton Colliery and is a talented director and screenwriter, also known as Jamie Catchpole Childs.
Back in his graduation days, Jamie won a competition by directing a commercial for Patricia Cornwell’s crime novel, Book of the Dead.
Amazingly, he shot the commercial in his bedroom with just £5 worth of props and ended up winning £2,500!
Jamie got his first big break in drama with the show Vera on ITV, directing two episodes between 2016 and 2017.
Fast forward to 2023, Jamie directed his first solo movie, Jackdaw, with Jenna playing the character Bo.
Interestingly, the couple first met on the Netflix series The Sandman set in 2020, where Jamie directed four episodes.
Their relationship became public when they appeared together at the Evening Standard Theatre Awards at London’s Claridge’s Hotel in November 2023.
