In 2024, his dream was realized when he won season 25 of NBC’s “The Voice,” captivating America with his incredible vocals and undeniable star power.

As a celebratory banner was unveiled in downtown Selma following his Victory, Asher made sure to honor his roots and the family who supported him every step of the way.

When I tell you I love my city. I. Love. My city!” he beamed.

His mother, Joanne, added through grateful tears,

“It was a long time coming, but I thank God that he made it.”

His parental support and never-give-up attitude finally paid off, winning “The Voice.”
