Acclaimed actor James Spader was the subject of d*ath hoax rumors that spread like wildfire across social media this week after a TikTok video claimed he had suffered a fatal heart attack.

The baseless video racked up nearly 900,000 views as it was reshared across TikTok and Twitter.

Another TikTok user named “oliviaeyy” shared the same video with disbelief.

Fans immediately called out the claims as untrue in comment sections, citing a lack of reputable sources reporting on Spader’s supposed de*th.

It seems to be a lie,” one commented.

The hoax appeared to gain more traction after a Twitter user shared an edited Wikipedia page showing Spader’s “Years Active” as 1978-2024, fueling beliefs the 64-year-old actor had di*d this year.
